In addition to his professional accomplishments, Aidan serves as the New Members Chairperson for the CIWEM Scottish Branch and mentors professionals aspiring to attain C.WEM status.
Aidan brings a wealth of experience from both consultancy and Design & Build (contractor) environments. His extensive expertise spans across all technical facets within the water sector. Eager to leverage this knowledge, Aidan is committed to assisting clients in fulfilling their obligations and achieving successful project outcomes.
Conor is a Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience, predominantly working within the Water industry in both potable and wastewater projects. He also has past experience with major projects in Highways, and smaller-scale roads and drainage projects with Local Councils.
Conor’s water career to date includes 2 years working as a Site Engineer on Scottish Water’s capital investment programme across the West of Scotland, and 2 years working in Design Coordination/Civil Design on Thames Water’s P-Removal Programme and Flow Compliance/FtFT Programme for the London and Thames Valley area.
Aside from his regular duties, Conor has previously worked as a member of Engineering Delivery Improvement Groups, focusing on BIM/Digital improvement ideas, helping to create and put BIM development plans into action. Conor has also dedicated time throughout his career to mentoring several graduate engineers with their early careers development.
Maria is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in water resources engineering, specialising in hydraulic modelling and water distribution systems. She has worked as a hydraulic specialist on the design and analysis of water networks, delivering high-quality designs, detailed specifications, and accurate budgets. Maria is proficient in advanced modelling tools such as EPANET and WaterGEMS.
In addition to her engineering roles, Maria has lectured in Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, and Urban Drainage, showcasing her depth of knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. She has also held leadership roles, developing strong skills in team collaboration and project oversight, earning trust through her honesty and commitment to project success.
Maria holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (2005), a Master’s in Water Resources and Hydroinformatics (2009), and a Master’s in Environmental Management (2024), reflecting her dedication to professional growth and sustainable water management.
Divyesh is a passionate Graduate Civil Engineer who has recently graduated from Brunel University with a Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering.
The MSc in Civil Engineering has provided Divyesh with a strong foundation in structural analysis, water engineering, and project management principles. Leveraging his solid academic knowledge and hands-on internship experiences in drafting, site supervision, and project coordination, Divyesh is eager to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects.
Proficient in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, EPANET and Abaqus, with a keen interest in sustainable design practices. Divyesh is excited to apply his analytical skills and technical expertise to roles in water and environmental engineering.
